@Kopihucky with that said, you should train in live fire scenarios just as you would on the fireground, or as closely as possibly...If done properly, a live burn instructor can reignite those fires for the next crew.
@bresq343 training.. remember.. they cant knock it down or else they would have to re ignite the fire for every crew rotation.. if you work for fd you should know that
basic fire training like this is just to give the new guys as good an idea as possible of what the real deal is like.. you really learn to fight fire from doing it on the job.. this is just an introduction of sorts
