  • My favorite version of this classic. Monk and Bags seem to g so well together imo! Monk seems really inspired here, particularly his comping! Awesome!! A listener not well versed in the new jazz sounds in 1947 wouldn't have known what to make of this I'm sure. Well ahead of it's time!
