  • i agree altho i would say prusik cord is even cheaper, if you go for a split tail try a double blakes hitch saves you moving 2 knots when footlocking, personally i wouldnt footlock on a double blakes as the effort is halfed by just pulling yourself up, i climb on a Valdotain tresse and a distel for my side line but im one of them other guys you spoke about :)

  • Using a split tail instead of the rope to tie the blake's hitch would save you money, if you descend too quickly then you can replace the split tail instead of cut off the end of the rope. Also, why do you use a figure-eight on a bight instead of a bowline?

  • why did you tie a figure 8 between your attachment figure 8 and your blakes?

  • what is the title of the background music..i really love it...im also a tree climber from malaysia..
