The Animator and Planner of the animated short film
"Mada Aquel Harbi AlNoah AlKhaldi":
My reason for making a cartoon for the HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is to do my part for the world, by helping to encourage others into learning more about HIV and AIDS.
For after I have read about the disease I have found that there is hope and a future possible for HIV positive patients. And I personally became more compassionate to their cause and my own fears towards the disease diminished by reading about the disease. And so I find myself now aware of how important it is to educate ourselves more on HIV and AIDS. Through accepting and how we interact equally with HIV/AIDS positive patients will make their journey with HIV and AIDS less painful and full of life.
And we can also help them by giving them support. And what I can give is this cartoon hoping that it gives a message in the cause to support HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
I'm a 24 year old woman from Saudi Arabia. I made this cartoon with my own efforts and with my limited resources, I still believe that the message my cartoon gives is clear and hope you all will enjoy it.
I thank you all deeply for taking the time to read my message and for watching my animated short film.
What Next? Santa Claus? The Stork? Sherlock Holmes? Big foot? The Easter Bunny? it doesn't get any more transparent that that!
