haha this is me EXACTLY!!!! i do this all the time when i write. i have little fights with my characters and they never listen to me...my friends think I'm crazy half the time when they ask me how my weekend went and I tell them how i almost killed my main character because he refused to stop being arrogant for two seconds...and yes our brains are an alternate dimension ..i am constantly reminded of this too..that I'm never actually 'here' when i go into writer mode but somewhere else entirely
