The STO class has "open" tires. All they have to be is DOT shaved, any brand. Many other rules carry over from WC, but not tire brand.

hes lucky he wasnt protested. hes supposed to be running Toyo Tires and he had hoosiers on if you know him u might want to mention that (see World challenge rules for that car)
