lol, this ones a bit better then civ 4. Empire at war has a really nice combat system but it takes a long time

@TWCGroup Oh sure.....one game would take too long since you will have at least a few attacks every turn. And the already faulty combat system in a lot of the civ games are where you can attack tanks with your infantry and just see them shoot the tanks and kill them. Now how would that work in real time? Actually it might work with some other technique rather than shooting bullets but how are you going to put how many people are in one unit for each unit? It's nearly impossible dude.

@TWCGroup sure! that would be cool! but hey, now I must admit I'd love to test a tactical combat between a Tank unit with a Pikemen one. I love challenges

@Empeinmortal I freely admit that it would. Only for hardcore total war/civ nerds. Of course you could always have the option to just auto resolve any fights like CIV does by default.

This is my favorite Civ opener, but Civ IV Original has the coolest song, and Civ III Original is the most nostalgic =)

I love how the officer in the Civil War part yells "charge!" and only a couple of guys do it. Even he stays behind the wall, so it seems like he was playing them.
