This is the Solid Gold FX Funkbox envelope filter. The Funk Box was built with simplicity and versatility in mind, featuring a huge variety of tones and easy operation. 3 dedicated knobs control sweep, sensitivity, and resonance, and the fourth knob is a 6-way rotary switch that sets the sweep. There's also a sweep reverse switch with it's own LED on the Solid Gold FX Funkbox. This lets you swap the sweep on-the-fly, opening the door to even more creative possibilities. Tonally this filter maintains a smooth, warm character at all settings, having more in common with a vintage italian wah than your average off-the-shelf auto-wah. The Solid Gold FX Funkbox is handmade in Canada with some really, really nice components and true bypass switching.

  • just one question are fine components aka made in china electronics? not trying to be rude just asking.

  • @Xperimento56 Don't get hung up on where the parts are made. Usually when a company says high quality it means good solid switches that won't wear out, sturdy jacks, low noise better quality resistors and caps. I'm sure Solid Gold could give you more specifics. Thanks,

  • Mind Eraser No Chaser by Them Crooked Vultures. Nice.

  • Static Wah - The best sound I've ever heard on a pedal.

  • Them Crooked Vultures!!!!

  • law abiding, dick riding fun police leave us alone. crazy sound

  • personally, I think envelope filter swork better with basses. It's better for that lower frequency, and normal wah pedals never quite seem to work in favour of a bass' sound.

This is still a good pedal though. I'd love to see Andy try some demos on bass! Please make it happen PGS!

  • mid eraser no chaser!!!!
