My understanding is that Woodstock barely happened. No bands were signing up, until Creedence did. Once they did, other bands figured it was going to happen, and signed up. John Fogerty thought his band's performances were sub-par, so did not want them on the movie and records. Their equipment was rained on, and he was also pissed that Grateful Dead went way over their designated time limit.

@smithdsmit You can hear the short version in radio usually. The original version is 8.37 min. long (probably you've heard this one). The short version doesn't contain that beautiful guitarpart!!! This is my problem with the radio version! :)

Hey jmweed. Would LOVE to hear that bootleg set. First album I ever bought was CCR/CCR. Wore it out decades ago, but still have it.

CCR DID PLAY AT WOODSTOCK YOU IDIOTS!!!! I HAVE A BOOTLEG OF THEIR SET! They played at 3:00 in the morning, which pissed John Fogerty off, so he refused to sign off on the record or film!!!!!!!

I can't believe the 11 people who decided not to listen to awesome music but, OH no they decide to listen to Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, and worst of all Justin Bieber. Thumbs up for good music..... CCR, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc.
