  • this stuff is garbage. leaves my natural 4ab hair dry, untouchable, greasy. perhaps it would work better if i were half japanese like titi and her sister. sometimes folks ignore genetics play a huge part in what our hair looks like. and judging from mj's website, the only ppl who's hair looks decent w/o any chemical alteration are the ppl with naturally curly/mixed hair.

i went ahead and got the sample pack to test for myself and am glad i didn't waste my money on the full sizes.

  • Didn't care too much for the product.. it stiffens my hair. I purchased the sample pack from a natural hair care salon. Didn't care for any of the products quite honestly. Love the scent of the baby buttercreme though....I've been creating my own moisturizer and experimenting with Shikakai Bar for my hair. Much cheaper and better results...not to mention it's more natural than the Miss Jessie products!

  • Im mixed but I have type 4a hair and my hair smells sweet but it feels dry like maybe I should be using another product also

  • @lasoreal EveryDay Shea Moisturizing Shampoo, Lavender

10 bucks at whole foods but a large amount to last for months = D

  • @Papillonmuscogee My mistake (those exact words were not included in your comment). That's what I gathered from the comment based on your question about her heritage and stating she had type three hair.

  • @iscavengersam when did I say they did?

  • @Papillonmuscogee I don't think all African Americans have type 4 hair.

  • @Kimberlene I'm confused. You tried Kinky Curly Curling Custard, OR, the Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding stuff? This vid is relating to Miss Jessie's. Kinky Curly products are natural, while Miss Jessie's uses the mineral oil, etc.

  • @iscavengersam isn't Kabrina, also of mixed heritage? ("3 something kind of hair)
