This 4WD conversion done by Epic Tuning is one of the most innovative ideas to progress the Honda scene. The car is absolutely insane to drive on street tires. We dyno'd the car in FWD configuration and then saw a 50-60whp reduction in power when operating in 4WD at the same boost level. The car has already gotten into the 10's on pure street tires with 100whp less power, so we are hoping to see a 9 second street tire pass very soon!

  • thats bs u get more speed less torq when using just a rear end out of a awd car so no 435 torq maybe 235 at max i use to work for a subaru performance garage and have done many rear only drive subie's and if u dont have a trans built for the rear end out put gear ratios u have a slower car off the line but faster top speed

  • @biggdaddy2001 That is actually not correct. The torque is measured at the wheels on the dyno. The car was also dyno tuned in FWD configuration and put out over 500 ft-lbs of torque.

  • @JxPhan Dynapack Dynos are significantly safer to use. The car can not jump off the rollers because the wheels are removed from the equation.

You can also remove the issue of traction when tuning and save folks from ruining tires making dyno runs.

The system is completely hydraulic and makes no noise, doesn't need a pit dug to house it, runs off a 110 line, and uses a standard garden hose for cooling.

Overall, superior engineering to other dynos.

  • @joescivic Our dyno is very comparable (within 1-2% usually which is statistically irrelevant) in power figures to roller dynos. It is a myth that Dynapack Dynos "read higher" than other dynamometers.

  • i need this awd swap on my b18c eg8. how much does this run to have you complete?

    i can source some parts

  • @zooflagette Conditions such as air temperature, elevation, and the way the dyno is calibrated can alter a reading. We've done back to back tests with other dynamometers in our area to confirm our numbers read within 1-2%.

Aside from that our numbers have been proven at the track by hundreds of our dyno tuning customers.

  • @andrewhans This comment doesn't make sense.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom put the car on a real dyno like a Mustang and lets hear the numbers then.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom Not trying to offend you or anything, but hows it a myth? Ive see people dyno the exact car back to back with the dynapack reading higher? Again im not trying to get flamed for asking just interested.

  • is the rwd/4wd running gear out of another car eg. a crv or is it all custom made?

  • whats done it to?
