@sk8142 Hey I saw your comment and was wondering, since I'll be getting my first car fairly soon (less than 2 years - lol), and I'm going to automotive school after high school for aftermarket, engines in general, which would you recommend? A 240SX or 300ZX, as far as insurance, maintenance, potential. Obviously it would be easier to get more power out of a 6 cylinder as opposed to 4, but in general. Thx for reading my little rant, hope you answer. xD

I used to own one of the early 89's, production 9/88, and for having 160,000 miles on it pulled harder than most modern cars I've been in and it was auto! Love those things, sold mine for a mk3 supra tho :)

no prob. not.... but I don't have smog where I live and don't have any emissions equipment on the engine at all.

Nope not pinging its actually the shitty 1st gen B&M SS. The timing maps were pretty conservative becuase this was during the middle of summer (100+ degree) and was on 92 octace fuel.
