I don't know much about Kang Yong Gang. He fought in the World Wushu Sanshou Comp so he must at least be a weight champion in Sanda. In Sanda, the champions of each weight class go against each other to determine the ultimate champion.

Baowee is a top ranked Thai fighter who is known for his straight up toe to toe style.

LOL look at all these Chinese hating Muay Thai nuthuggers. I hate to break it to you but takedowns are very much part of a fight and has proven to be effective. It's not Sanda's fault that MT fighters have never trained to defend a takedown. Even if you allow the MT plum, a good Sanda fighter would simply scoop your leg from under you and slam you on your ass. You see this in modern day MMA, a fighter scoring takedowns usually wins.

ill drink to that. i find wushu much more disciplined than thai boxing. Most of the times, its freakin street thugs that act the way you descriebe, just because thai box looks more violent, people with no respect for martial arts.
