There are no words to tell you how much I love this horse. I didn't know much about reining until I saw Boomernic at the 1993 AQHA show in OKC. I didn't know what to expect. He absolutely blew me away! I fell in love, and dragged my friend down by the warm-up ring to get a look at him. Shining Spark won that night while Boomernic was reserve--a travesty in my opinion. But, oh well. I visited him again while he was standing in Oklahoma. What a STAR!

@SilverSpursEquine I don´t, but Boomernic still reminds me to the past, dunno why^^ Maybe 'cause he is not that over-breeded like many other Quarters I know. ;) I heard about Da Care Bear, I may be an english rider but I also like Western^^ It´s not that difficult to get some info about it; can´t wait for the Derby(s), they are quite amazing to watch :O

Very exciting, I wish You the best of luck!!
Really cool riding :D It´s a pity that no one talks about the best names from the past, like Helmut Grass and so on :(

@Rimfaxe96 I know what you mean but Boomerniv keeps turning out Champion after champion - Latest is Boomshernic winner of the 2010 National Reiners Breeders Classic. The first breeder's classic was won by a Boomernic and 13 years later it is won by a Boomernic. We have a 3-yr old, bred at Silver Spurs, named Da Care Bear that will be Boomernic's next winning Derby offspring. So do not consider Boomernic a horse of the past. - Mike

I have no words for what I just saw! It was amazing! I wish reining is now, what it used to be..because its not.

@bridlelessgirl Check out our lastest video of Brett winning the 2010 Las Vegas High Roller Classic Futurity on our Hamster (Smoking Whiz). This was Hamster's first competition. It's Brett riding again in the style that only he can perform (many since him have tried and failed). We will be taking him to Oklahoma in November for the big one. Hopefully Brett will topple the Flarida dynasty that has dominated the NRHA for so many years.
