OHIO STATE FAIR 2011 night rides

A summer storm pounded the fairgrounds in the early evening, thinning the crowd considerably and unfortunately shutting down many rides for the night. I was hoping to post a more energy-filled video, but frankly, it was pretty tame for a Friday night. Filmed July 29, 2011. I did enjoy the video but in my opinion I thought that the rides last year were a littler better most are the some but some are not there this year like, Zipper Power Surge Space Roller Quasar and the Pharaoh Swing ride.

@RameyXL I agree. I was a bit disappointed that some of last year's rides didn't return, especially Zipper, a classic.

Loved the shot at 1:32 , just amazing. The view from the Ferris Wheel was excellent as well. Did you wait for the fair to close at the end of the video Bob? I cannot get enough of these videos. @Paneeks1960 I'm hoping Sean will see this video and decide to go there with me this week. COME ON, SEAN! As empty as the park looked near the end of the vid, I left about 20 minutes before closing (midnight.) The parking lot was nearly empty. More videos on the way - thanks for watching!

The fair to me doesn't look as impressive as it was before with all those rides missing that I listed.

Holy molly. When I went, there wasn't a lot of these rides at all. No Tip Top, no Sky Screamer, no Yo-Yo, no Viper, no Rock-O-Plane, no Remix for sure, no Musik Express, that one ride looks like an Explorer (They didn't have that.), no Hurricane, and no Zero Gravity. The year I went they had these rides that are missing from what I see now - Flying Bobs, Spin Out, G-Force roller coaster, KMG Fireball, Enterprise, Twister ride (Wade Shows), Power Surge, Gravitron, & Space Roller.
