Here are eight county sheriffs from Northern CA and Southern OR speaking on at panel at the Defend Rural America event October 22, 2011 in Yreka. Despite the low media coverage there were about 700 people in attendance from all over California, Oregon and as far away as Wyoming. The sheriffs made it perfectly clear that they are the last line of defense for their citizens and given authority by the 10th Amendment. 'mericans...they elect (political) Sheriffs! it might surprise the yanks to know that the rest of the world appoints law enforcement officials; separation of powers anyone?

Great job to all the Sheriffs that have said enough is enough and are taking a stand and fighting for our rights. We in turn have obligation to support them and all those in the front line that are standing up for us against the federal govt. God Bless them and keep them safe. I am very proud to see that the American spirit is still alive. Long live The Republic. God Bless us all.
