Im using it as a frame of reference. Corvettes have the LS1 motor like the FD has, but are heavier and have taller gears. Didn't realize my comment was that difficult to understand?

a C5 Z06 which is heavier, with only 50 more hp runs 12 seconds in the 1/4, so why can't an FD which weighs 2800lbs, and has a 4.10 rear end(vs a corvette's 3.42) do it? And since most LS1 swapped FD's aren't bone stock(at least headers, intake, maybe a cam), 11's easy.
