Niagara County Community College Art Gallery and the Arts and Media Division Present: Fabric of War; Papermaking and Printmaking as Social Engagement.
The Combat Paper Project utilizes art-making workshops offered throughout the USA, to assist veterans in reconciling and sharing their personal experiences as well as broadening the traditional narrative surrounding service and the military culture. From uniform to pulp - Battlefield to workshop - Warrior to artist, this exhibition and related events will heighten the public's consciousness of the impact of an ongoing war on personal lives of those who have served in the military and our nations psyche.
