I don't believe humans are that smart. In fact, we are pretty down right stupid. Just because animals don't have the capacity to screw you for financial gain doesn't mean that don't have emotions or intelligence. Love comes in many shapes and sizes. Love this video!

Many animals especially elephants group with other animals to strengthen their survival chances. If you took a dog out for a walk everyday it would expect to walk everyday too. The elephant was making noises, you can't say those were emotions.

@Andrewsafb71 Maybe you should take some college biology classes to understand a little more about the natural world. The dog that we feed depend on us to survive. The elephant didn't depend at all on the dog to survive. Why would he waste his time with a dog everydays if he couldnt feel lonely? And you can actually hear and feel his emotion when he see the dog after a few days.

Apparently you had to take a biology class to figure out humans were animals so don't tell me anything about using a brain. The elephant was there because the dog that is usually in it's presence wasn't there. If you feed a dog everyday it's going to expect to be fed every single day and wait on its' food. The elephant had no idea what was going on with the dog so it wasn't in any pain. Animals do not possess the sentience and intelligence that we humans do... maybe you though

@Andrewsafb71 What about you stop telling people to use their brain and start using yours? Why do you think that the elephant was waiting there for days? Just because he was lost? What did keep him there? Emotions. We are all coming from the same ancester. We are all made the same way. All the animals on earth, including us, are just a bunch of cells communicating with each others. So you tell me sadness isnt pain? What about if you lose someone you love. It's not pain? Some emotions are pain.
