PRAISE GOD FOR THE UCC. I have found what simply means to be Christ like. Where I can grow,serve, and praise. I am proud that I have become a member of the UCC. I have never felt so close to Christ since I have left the mega churches we have here in America.

I have been a Christian for about a year. I spent years deceived by the New Age mvmt. I believe it takes maturity to admit the existence of sin-in the world and in self. It takes humility to admit you cannot pay for your sins by yourself. The UCC is a very sad thing! People inventing a religion to their liking.

When does God reject anykind of people, he accepts then all but not the sin. I want to know what this organization teaches about sin. Is there sin at all? there are many paths and not just one? I TELL U; this is what happens when we the law of God is abandon and we follow man made doctrines. This is why he gave us a law so that this does not happen but there is no love for God but for love for one's self. Cristianity as an organization has robbed us of our Jewish roots

hdsjason, really? Hm, the UCC church I go to must be a lie then. I'm sure it's all just a plot, though. Because *Georgia* is known for being awesomely open and integrated and has tons of multicultural churches. And the National Youth Convention that's always about 50% white at the very most, that's just me and my lyin' eyes, too. Keep grinding that axe!

bout want to avoid those verses that clearly say that whoever does this is worthy of death. We as a church of God need to be always denying ourselves and take the cross if we want to follow him. Also Galatians 5:16 says "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."

And Ephesians 4:17 says how we need to put off the old man and renew our minds....this is very powerful and we have to dig deeper so we can know the truth and the truth shall make us free.
