suddenly math looks way more intuitive and real to me. I though it was just numbers, but with these illustrations its more like real physical laws in action. Way more interesting then numbers.

I remember this exact scenario. Except I wasn't think about hydras at the end of the page, I was thinking about how each and every line could be my life going a different path and something different happening, and no matter what I thought of I didn't want it to end up like that. I wanted to go off the line path and do something I wasn't meant to do. I thought that my life is short and it's silly to think those thoughts, I'm going to die before I accomplish anything. :/ *sigh* life is depressing
