"Masquerade (noun): false show or pretense. The song "Hand in Hand Again" grabbed me more than any of the other songs just because of its dated sound. The feel of the music prompted the sepia color and crackling film look for the piece. In this short film, death puts up a facade of innocence. Set in the 40s, this party and punch turns sour quick. Definitely creepy both in its story and the presentation style. Reminds me a bit of the beginning of "Children Of The Corn". Simple, but well done.
