@bigmanlondon11 It comes from when cassettes/vinyl used to have a B side with songs that were usually bundled with the single. They were basically songs the band liked that didn't make the cut for the album, and only really got released along with the single release. Now days they're usually released on their own B side album or as downloaded tracks.
