Great work.. and the G2-D3 jump is in good tune! I always get sharp there. I need to dust this one off and give it another go; it has been a few years. Your solo is nicely paced and quite inventive, too (loved the Ellington quote). Another fine job, Matthew. Thanks!

Made my day/night ;-)

Great, Man! My favorite CrazyDaisy listen to date. And don't sweat the video quality, pretty fun for what it is. Jamey Abersold Band accompanying? Uhh, Rock On!

Your playing is breathtaking! I admire the control you've gained over your instrument and the great solo ideas. This tune is a real challenge! Thanks a lot.

@ulrichhoebler Thanks so much Uli, Ive been tackling this tune for about 3 years, and only now feel confident to record it. It's tricky to come up with anything meaningful at all :-) My only tip is to incorporate the f sharp (on tenor) on both the gmaj7 chord and the D7, it adds interest and is away from the g minor blues that you can fall into too easily.
