  • 3:40 should be calcaneofibular ligament, shouldn't it?

  • About Buerger's test - PT artery actually runs behind the medial malleoli, not on the dorsum of the foot where you showed (DP). Also, when you put the legs back down you check for signs of ischaemia, like blood flowing back very slow and resulting in a bright, red color instead of a healthy pink one.

  • Awesome vid mate, just that the middle ligament on the lateral aspect is actually the Calcaneofibular ligament, connecting the Fibula to the Calcaneus, not the 'Fibulatalar ligament'(no such ligament). Aside from that very helpful for revision; Keep up the great work!

  • Also remember to check 2 mins after swinging the leg over the bed during Buerger's Test for a hyperaemic response. This is indicative of vasodilation in response to cytokines released by the ischaemic limb when it is raised.
