@xRichardx20 Look in the front of your local phone book under Federal Government and you will find listings for the phone number of your local FBI office. You can call them to speak with someone directly. If you are interested in a career, ask to speak to the Recruiter or Applicant Coordinator.

@outerspit55 Why should two agencies committed to protect one nation would go rival with each other? It is in movies that they show chiefs of F.B.I and CIA going at each other over photo sharing, not in real life.

@12ESEMEXICANO The only requirement for a college is that it must be accredited. As far as preparing yourself, study hard to get good grades and stay away from drugs and criminal activities.

Is it true that there is a rivalry between federal agencies that causes some intelligence to not be shared between the agencies?

Sharing intelligence is absolutely critical to our nation's safety, and you can be sure that the professionals working to protect the nation are keenly aware of that and work very hard to share information without regard to organizational boundaries. The Joint Terrorism Tasks Force groups all across the country bring together state, local, and federal law enforcement and intelligence workers from many agencies to work in the same space, side-by-side as members of the same group.
