NIN Ghost 8 Contest Indoctrination of Children into War

This video is part of the Nine Inch Nails contest to create videos using music from their instrumental album, Ghost. My video is for mature audiences who have no idea that children are indoctrinated into the idea that the military is simply another high tech career choice. The video shows the reality of being a soldier, that is, that the soldier may be asked to kill or die for political leaders. There is no other way to show these brutal realities than to show the disfigured bodies. This reality would not exist except for the internet and it is my hope that YouTube will understand the intent of my work. Some video must transcend the fluff of society. I expect that Nine Inch Nails take creation of music seriously. This video was created in that same spirit.

idk, i think the G.I. Joes thing was going overboard... why pick at a childs toy? why cant they have an imagination where there are bad people, but anything can be overcome by the good guys... i think that you might as well put down batman, because he uses violence to stop the joker. not meaning any disrespect, just giving my opinion

in this economy the military is a last resort for us cause theres no jobs and college is a bitch when u r poor so who will pay for it ,the army and other branches. how am I going to get laid in college when my legs were blown up or disfugured . 1/4 of the homeless are vets .

An excellent example of sophomoric anger at the percieved gov/cultural edifice...
I was particularly amused by the inclusion of irrelevant pics of car crashes, parades, etc. for the shock/filler value. Fact of the matter is, war toys have always been among young boys' favorites, simply due to their taste for dynamic, movement-filled imagery. Ask any child psyc. Also, nearly all military recruiting effort is focused on men in their late teens who are old enough to make their own descisions.
