Yoga guru Swami Ramdev is in the hot seat this weekend in Rajat Sharmas Aap Ki Adalat show for his remarks about Bollywood heroines being charitraheen (characterless). Sambhavana Seth and Kashmira Shah were present in the gripping and volatile show, not only as witnesses, but also to grill the saffron-clad yoga guru, who appeared to be on the backfoot. Ramdevs point was that his remark was torn out of context.

Audience demands? I'm pretty sure it was the movies that started with this shit first, which the audience liked, and the producers etc cashed in on it. I don't wanna see kissing scenes and sex scenes and item songs when I go to the movies. No one complains after watching a movie that it had no stuff like obscenity or sex scenes, do they? They like it if it has, but they do not in any way demand that such be there in the movies.
