Say its not so, another bar patron at a particular downtown Bloomington, IL venue allegedly lights up a smoke while still on bar property, stands there within 15 ft. of the bar door, allegedly still on bar property while the doorman lets two lots of bar patrons exit the bar while this alleged violator potenitally harms them as they exit the bar. No apparent effort is made to safeguard the bar patrons exiting the bar from this alleged violator, no apparent effort is made to ask the alleged violator to leave the property, or stop allegedly smoking within the 15 ft. illegal area. But, as usual, despite a formal complaint to the State of Illinois backed up by this video, nothing to date has happened to our knowledge to hold this venue accountable for what could be called criminal negligence towards their patrons as they exit the bar, as no apparent effort is made to protect their safety and welfare under the Smoke-Free Illinois Act in previous official complaints to the State of Illinois Department of Health. Maybe because the law never seems to be enforced is why we keep seeing it violated so much?
