I klicked a link in my email once. It installed an undetectable key logger or something, and it stole all my passwords on my computer! Got everything back but it sure was stupid and was a long progress to get everything back. Hate stupid hackers trying to make a profit on other people

also worth noting to never respond to any dodgy looking e-mails like these either or you'll put your pc at risk of hacking and finding a keylogger on it, which can be alot worse than loosing your WoW acc. I've had these for years from games, ebay, paypal, banks, many of which i've never had anything to do with. I remember a couple of years ago being laughed at for claiming mafia type gangs were behind alot of these (they follow the money). It turns out they are. k back to Aion ftp^^

I've been getting these emails exactly as he reads it for the past year. I don't even play WoW (I only ever used trials) and I even told Blizzard in tech support to cancel the account if something does happen.

Even so... when I receive these 'official' emails, I NEVER click the link inside of the email itself. Instead, I type in the address in my address bar (to the main site, not a copy/paste of the provided link) and log in from there.

I usually find no problems.
