Africa Link: School-to-School Partnerships is an initiative to facilitate one-to-one relationships between schools in Africa and schools in the US by bringing low-cost computers and Internet access to isolated regions of Africa. The project idea was developed by a group of people who are working with Global Education Partnerships (GEP), a non-profit organization, which has been working in Kenya and other developing countries for over sixteen years. The Africa Link initiative is concluding a two-year pilot program pairing a Kenyan and and American schools. This program will soon be expanded to other schools in Kenya and the US.
