City Truck Crosses in Front of Train

Just wanted to post this video for the local officials. This is Anderson, IN. Parks Department pickup truck #685 arriving at a railroad crossing where the lights are flashing and the train is close enough to clearly hear the horn. He looks, sees the train is close, and goes for it. Crossing is at Indiana Ave. and Vinyard St.
Occurred January 28, 2009 at 3:00pm.

That crossing sucks, and where's the crossing gates? The only reason you're filming out there is because you know it's a messed up and confusing crossing. Even at 1: 16

@Denniss7420, technically, there is a red flashing railroad crossing light in all directions before you cross the tracks. Simply put, if it's flashing, don't cross. Add to that we are supposed to STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN.

Why would you say that is the only reason I'm there? Have you at least looked at my other videos? I like to accumulate several videos of crossings I like, and this is a fairly unique crossing. I'd only been there three times so far, and wound up with two videos like this. (cont.)

... I'm still trying to collect enough videos of this crossing to make a ten to fifteen minute video, but it's hard to catch a train here. I've now been there since, but still have little footage. I have maybe two more trains and neither were eventful (thankfully). And it may be a confusing crossing, but where it's located you have almost all locales driving through here who are familiar with it, but are just too impatient.

BTW, that was a little boy, and I told him you called him a girl.

@ffjsb, yeah, sorry. I wasn't implying it was going 10 mph here. When it was going through town it was going that slow giving me plenty of time to get in position at this crossing.

Wow, you're just standing out on the street in Anderson, and that doesn't look like the 'rich' part of town. That takes guts. The last time I drove through there, I purposely drove erratically and noisily (hard acceleration, tires chirping) so I'd look like I was crazy, and the random disheveled or threatening-looking people congregating on the street corners wouldn't try to carjack me. That is not a nice town to be walking around in.
