i love brood i play her mid with more ad and attck speed/lifesteal your build seems interesting to try, does it work mid lane? nice vids btw love them!

@roflmoa42 brood is better to play on the difficult lane that the other heroes have trouble playing on(radiant top or dire bot) but she can be played mid. Also, she's not much of a ganker, so you should put more ganking oriented heroes mid to solo.

Omniknight might be able to hold his own. But it doesn't seem like anyone would be able to actually win the lane. Maybe Axe with sentires set up, but you better hope you have Axe on your team, or any of the very few that can hold their own. You've specialized in this game much longer than I, so I assume you are more familiar with the nuances, so I want to ask: How do you, personally, deal with her? You can't leave her alone, and she's so hard to kill.

@raymitch7410 Most teams just ban her in the first round, use a mid Rexxar to gank her(with a little support and dust) or lane a solo sand king against her(leveling caustic finale). If you don't have those options just make sure you have heroes with good aoe and that you do enough ganking that Brood doesn't get overfarmed(and therefore 1 hero can defend her pushes if needed).

is it just me or is the voice acting for dota 2 a bit sub par?

I mean the agme looks awesome, but the voicing for some of the characters...

@Sindal55 The voice acting is actually extremely well respected. You just haven't watched enough clips of heroes. Valve is doing a really good job honestly.

@ElCapitanMomo well Brood can play a pure damage hero if needed. But so can anyone built for it. Why not play brood to her strengths: Awesome pusher, a nice effect on teamfights, can really just solo any lane. A bit of mana regen means a spider army. But I agree, mid-early late BM can be very aggressive with any amounts of HP regen and lvl 4 web.

Didn't like your item build at all. Brood is a potentially powerful melee hero if you didn't focus on the summons and instead got some dmg items and a bkb. I liked the orchid but hated the necronomicron. After the orchid I would have liked to see a bkb followed by mass dmg items and possibly a butterfly

Also you weren't aggressive enough during mid-game. I don't know why you said brood isn't a good gang hero he's an AWESOME ganking hero you could have roamed a lil more its not all farm

Sometimes you have to take risks... Your score REALLY doesn't impress me... You're not aggressive enough, and the fact your ulti cools down so fast at all levels really confuses me as you barely use it, you save it too much, you should engage more, refine ur strategies, and use ur abilities to ur advantage. You don't make enough spiders, you let them die to quickly because you rush them in hopeless situations (not in jungle, when lane pushing) and you're way too laidback... You could do better..

Btw, Purge... You're gamestyle's WAY too passive, the way you talk proves you're not focused enough, sure, when you're hooked on the screen doesn't boost ur abilities that much, but ur so laidback its annoying... That team fight where u just stood there invisible while 2 of your team mates fought, that was so noob, if you watch that part over and over again for a good 4~5 times, you'll realize that you guys had enough burst to take 2 down QUICKLY and escape from the last one if u were too low hp

@Phethos Holy crap, are you a chick? You're one of those emotionally deranged scrubs that complain about everything. All pudge bitched about was why BM didn't join the team fight, it was a 3v4 but Purge later fought in a 2v3 and a 3v4 again, and he was the one that engaged... I heard more of Purge saying "Gosh that was stupid of me, I don't know why I did that" than Pudge typing "I shouldn't have jumped in, that was dumb". What has the world come to, you can't even say shit in game anymore.
