I spoke to a Dutch guy who'd been sight-seeing there by car. Said he'd been terrified when a cyclist passed him on the way down - he was doing 50! I was a little more sedate goiung down. Thanks for posting it - brought back all the pain going up from the Chalet Reynard.

haha, nice touch. But I'm Canadian... we both have decent road bikes, but this was a stop in the middle of a non-bike vacation to France. So bringing our bikes didn't make sense. I wasn't aware that supporting cancer research made me 'American' .
