The Veldt Plains (Original Composition)

Happy new year everyone!

At a time like this, I always find myself thankful for the previous year, and also motivated for the new challenges and goals for the new year. So what do you have in mind?

In the next week or so i'll be uploading a vlog on updates with what i have in planned, or things i'm working on so stay tuned for that. But for now... Let me indulge you in a composition, which i have not done for ages.

This one is different to previous things i've done (acknowledging that I've barely uploaded any of my compositions on youtube). However, I set myself up to write more ethnic, world type of music something new for me... but it also will lead up to some work i have planned.So... Zorsy went Sample hunting and I stumbled across a world music kit, which is the predominant feature of this BGM if you so call it. There are only two chords used as most of the emphasis is placed on the african plucks and percussion. I'm trying out many more styles this year, and putting my hands on digital music to hope to bring to life certain pictures and such.

you are really extremely versatile as a musician. i love this. (did you have the veldt from ff6 in mind? the percussions remind me of it a bit)

@Verdegrand to an extent, only the scenary... i was looking for a more barren desert, however one that brings a more flavorsome scenery where birds are just randomly flying from place to place :) FF6 brings more of the "wild west" type of feel to the track.. (I'm pretty sure that's the name of that bgm lol)

This is really amazing! I love it when the strings come in. Cant wait to see what else is in store
