I'm not really sure how you can make assumptions about city politics, social life, and personal dynamics from a video with no dialogue aside from someone else's lyrics. Blue jeans and a trance: why is this necessary to perform a song?
It's cool that you don't like the cover, but these statements are somewhat inane.

Commendable effort but a somewhat silly cover of a great Bauhaus classic. Perhaps if you'd analyze the lyric, analyze your own city politics and social life and your own personal dynamics, put on a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt, then sing this while in a trance, it might work. I'm all for covers, but the whole Nitzer Ebb "Join the Chant" style on this song kinda misses the point.
