@myhaternation1 They clean up the rich parts, it's just the poor bit that are left to look like shit. Mainly because if they bothered to clean up we'd only mess it up again in no time... It's not worth the effort.

I feel that although the Bible was the "word of God" humans wrote it into text. Humans are known for exaggerations and mistakes. Therefore any part of the Bible could be a lie or misinterpretation. Not to mention what was said below about how it is translated into different languages. Perhaps everything we think we know about God is wrong. The Bible isn't as reliable as it seems IMO.
