@Jevezy If it is not obvious to you, it is obvious to everyone else, slavery STILL persists in large parts of the Islamic world - especially at its core, Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the Islamic doctrine is being proposed as applicable in the present day. THAT is what is important. The tribal nature of Islam is divisive and destructive. Islam has disabled and/or obliterated every civilisation in which it has taken root. There is no place for it in the 21st century.

@Jevezy The fact is that after WW2 MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of people were left homeless and there were massive upheavals of populations and huge numbers of refugees. The point is that the Arab leaders insisted that the Palestinians alone were to be eternal refugees and that status would pass to their descendants until Israel was destroyed. That is a disgrace and hardly the kind of 'help' the Palestinians needed from their Arab 'brothers'.
