No introduction is necessary. This song is so mega-famous, the jacket, hat and tie had to be donned. It's in the key of C.

  • Wow. Really great stuff, I listen to this every day. It actually inspired me to go rent a tenor sax about 3 weeks ago, and Ive been trying to learn how you play this. Thanks for the kick in the butt :).

Question. I notice in the beginning as you go from C# to D you do a full fingering and octave key; why don't you just use the side palm keys? Just the tone? I find it hard to do that switch, but the palm keys much easier...

  • @Divinefairydust Hi Fairy Dust, the answer to your question about side keys is this: I'm totally self-taught and picked up a lot of bad habits which contributed to my dodgy technique. The moral to the story is get yourself some proper lessons in the early stages and learn the correct fingerings etc. And good luck with the sax!

  • Do you play a mark vi??? Ur playing is fantastic :)

  • @siscarocks No It's the Semer that came just before the Mark VI. It's called the Super Balanced Action.

  • I was thinking about getting a tenor sax. Hearing this just makes me want to follow through with my thought. Great playing.

  • @womack314 Well go on, do it! What's the worst that can happen?

  • The toy in the backgroung is rocking along. Good job sounds awesome. I switched from Tenor to Bari and hearing this is really giving me the erge to change back.

  • do you know where i can get the sheet music for this? also awesome playing :) very good dynamic control

  • Awesome job.

  • @mne202001 Hi Mne,,Yes I love the tenor most too. Prices, of course vary a lot depending on whether you buy a pro, intermediate or student model. A new, intermediate tenor can cost between 4 and 8 hundred pounds, but you can get a student model for less, about £300. The dancing flower can be bought second-hand on ebay. TAKARA Rock n flowers for about £15.

  • nice sax playing, i like your vibe and style of dress. :)
