Is it just me or do some of the characters seem to have a greater resistance to insanity than others?

Yes, all characters have individual health- mana- and sanity bars

Hey.. I'm playing the game my first time (with xel-lotath) and my "enchant spell" is called "spell 1".. is this supposed to happen? did I miss a codex in the beginning?

Yeah, it seems you don´t have all the components. If it says: "spell 1" you apparently don´t have the formula

Lindsey should have said more. Pius' crack about him being a scholar appears to be wrong, because he's heavily armed, clearly knows how to fight and nothing even remotely seems to bother him. Of course that was what I liked about him :P. "Demon-ey things, zombies, dead gods. Whatever. Just another ancient tomb. happens to me all the time."
