Read to Understand:

A while ago, Hanna Barbera made a Scooby spinoff series, known as 'The New Scooby Doo Movies', where, very episode, a different guest star would help Scooby and the gang solve a mystery, and two of the episodes included Batman and Robin: 'The Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair' and the 'Caped Crusader Caper'. Despite how corny and cheesey those episodes were, the idea of teaming up Batman with Scooby Doo is an interesting one, so here's what may happen if they revisit the concept in a more serious way:

While driving, the Mysteries Inc gang see the Scarecrow deep in a seedy operation. They send Scooby to investigate, but Scarecrow sprays Scooby with his fear gas. The fear gas combined with Scoob's cowardice and memories of past misadventures cause him to launch into quite a frenzy, and Scarecrow captures Scoob to experiment on him. The Mysteries Inc gang follow Scarecrow to Gotham, where they meet Batman, who is trying to figure out Scarecrow's scheme. Mysteries Inc offer their help, but Batman refuses, but will still try to save Scooby. Soon, the Joker comes onto the scene, not only finding a new ally in the Penguin, but seeing 'potential' in Scooby in his frenzied state. Never one to turn down opportunities for chaos, Joker tries to drive Scooby insane and turn him against his friends, aiding him and Penguin in running Gotham to the ground. Now Batman and the Mysteries Inc gang have to stop the three villains and snap Scoob out of his nightmare before it's too late.
