The notes WILL come. Your teacher is doing an excellent job working with you on phrasing. Remember though although SHE may tell you what she wants, YOU have to have the ability to hear it. She tells you about phrasing and dynamics and you seem to GET it. YOU have the ABILITY child. I hope you are also having fun with this.
I also love your ability to concentrate and tune OUT the background noise. That is yet another GIFT. Some can't do that at all.

Curently the Sonatina and Gavotte are the ones Gillian's left to learn ...but as I have seen it - it is not really an easy book to learn - takes a long time and a lot of patience - she just keeps on practicing though :-) Welcome back John ... :-)
