Seminar hosted by Lee Wedlake. Mr Parker was demonstrating how to expand the variables from point of origin and to recognize weapons and targets. This is only a piece of the seminar we managed to video tape.

  • @clearcombat MMA is incomplete actually: Fouls

The following acts are universally considered fouls in the mixed martial arts world: Headbutting Eye gouging Hair pulling Fish-hooking Attacking the groin Strikes to the back of the head and spinal area (see rabbit punch) Strikes to, or grabs of the trachea Small joint manipulation (control of three or more fingers/toes is necessary)

All of which are a part of Kenpo.

  • At this time it was great stuff, but Kenpo has not improved. MMA is a complete system for the street and the ring.

  • too bad mr. hatfield has lost his way from parker

  • Thank you or sharing a glimpse into the Ed Parker past as he visited the Hatfield school. Looking back on those few moves, from the perspective of 2010 it seems so basic now. But I'm sure at the time, the idea of continuing to attack areas with a single move must have seemed genius. Ed Parker is still a genius in my view.
