@beowulven Though a huge SM fan back when, they were never as big as U2 because, even though The Edge never moved his left hand from frets 10, 11, 12, The Edge created much catchier riffs than Charlie. A good hook will keep a steady fan base, but a great hook will increase it. Plus, Bono LURVES the camera and the attention it brings - and I don't think Jim was ever like that.
