@kalinga01 you have clearly not listened to him if you believe a statement to possibly be unquestionable.

I can't believe I cried over this...

This is a great speech. So inspirational, and you can tell from his words that he cared about his people so much. Go Gandhi!

@thestrugglewithin After all I know a lot to a certain point but more far we go, we all will face the same: don't know any further, so the truth becomes more like an attitude and a constant strife for it which is easily seen in science for example, a mind of a child open for everything.
-
@thestrugglewithin Yes, the perception is subjective and I can safely place my life and all other lives within my worldview. I was once religious in religion, but I had to change because I couldn't lie to myself and now I don't have contradiction in my life anymore. Even though the perception is subjective, the truth is universal and I see the whole concept as a large set of words, but the picture is clear.

Funny how the perception of truth is subjective; either both of us are wrong, or one of us is right.
It is every humans obligation to pursue the truth - about origin, purpose and destination.
I settled on the truth almost 4 years ago, after 4 years of intensive study and research through several sects and different religions.
Nothing has stood up to the truth I have found, as they say "the truth is the perfect defense"
I can safely place my life in that truth, can you in yours?

@thestrugglewithin So you see that not one of them is likely to be true because they're exclusive? Other religions teach different things, but there's not one reason why your religion would be any more true than LOTR. I'm sorry but truth only hurts if a lie got in first. All I can say that seek truth and you will find it and it's worth it. Peace.

Actually, depending on which of the 4000+ sects of Christianity you are talking about, it is completely different.
No other religion teaches that God came as man, to die for man, because man was incapable of saving himself.
Gandhi was simply, unquestionably the single greatest human ever to live on our planet.
