  • @khalsarocks2007 Lol of course xD

Gandhi was from a very well of family and was rich. He simply chose to live like the poor to relate to them and lead them, So he gave up his Luxurious lifestyle and lived with the poor to understand their problems.

And also, to become involved in fighting for their rights and getting the Poor people of India aware of how important it was for India to acquire Freedom.

  • 20 dislikes came from Osama Bin Laden's home, PAKISTAN :)

  • now the women are fighting against being stoned to death under islam - odd how peaceful people supressed 50% of the population. The british were also trying to outlaw the caste system , and practices like setting widows on fire and forced marriages....this film is ridiculously inaccurate historically ...

  • they were trying to keep women down under their 'islamic ' religion - how can a copper speaing to a woman lead to her being 'disgraced'?

  • we were trying to civilise them....failed

  • Awesome .... Thank you Sir

  • It's an Honor to be Indian. Love Mahatma Gandhi

  • @Stantzs Well I think passive resistance is a misnomer anyway. Resistance, whether nonviolent or violent, is always meant to be active and provocative. Neither MLK nor Gandhi ever used the term "passive resistance".

  • @heeheeheeheeheehee Basically, they had some Sikhs Police were after holed up in the Golden Temple. Its one of, it not the holiest of all places for Sikhs. Indira Gandhi basically sent in Indian police after them and there was bloodshed in the Golden Temple. Indira Gandhi's own bodyguard was a Sikh and had assassinated her.

  • Is this exactly what Gandhi said or did they make some of it up for the movie??
