I volunteered at an evacuee center in Dallas. An elderly couple got off the bus with their dog. Otherwise, they would have stayed there. Anogher volunteer and I got a room for them at Days Inn so they could keep the pet.

Yes, thank you. The ECFH (evil cat from hell, as he's affectionatly called) is doing fine. He doesn't know the Hell I'm going through. I lost my mama because of that storm. Like I said.. there's no going back. My lifelong home...GONE.

Thank you for your comments! I am glad you enjoyed it, and even happier you and your kitty are safe. I will never ever forget my memories of New Orleans and will always hold them close to my heart.
