No, he didn't. He meant that if your parents are different people then you have 2 parents, if your grandparents are different people then you have 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, 16 great great grandparents and so on. When you get back to the generations in the 13th century, if all your great great great .... great grandparents were different people, there would be 80 billion of that generation alone, not all together.

So they're not different people. We are all related and all inbred.
