On April 29, 2006 we are hosting an event unlike any other before. Our goal is to end the war in Northern Uganda and with a goal that big we needed a little help. We don't take the situation in Northern Uganda lightly and we don't think our music video portrays that. It's our attempt to reach people through entertainment and inspiration to spread the word about the Global Night Commute.
The filmmakers have seen the spirit of the children in Northern Uganda and we wanted to emulate that. The children there, despite enormous odds, live life to the fullest. They laugh from their heart and dance and sing with extraordinary passion. We believe in doing the same.
We want to get people talking; talking about Invisible Children, talking about the crisis in Northern Uganda and talking about why this is the first they're hearing about this situation. So go ahead please talk. We dare you.
