This time rendered at 29.97 fps NTSC, for improved view at the engine rpm.
also included a normal speed landing clip, which i recorded earlier with my trusty Panasonic FZ50

why aren't there like small electro motors in the wheels to get them to rotate before touchdown, would save many tires..???

Video footage changes? It's a JAL 777 with the 1200FPS clip, and then a KLM 777 with the normal clip.

No my friend; the 1200fps touchdown clip is KLM too :) The switch happens at 0:54 I added the the normal speed klm landing in this version 2 for comparison

@bagagerat No, the slow-motion one is JAL. In fact, at 0:02 you can read the words 'JAL' on the side of the plane. Also, the plane is white.

I know, I was there and recorded & edited this vid ;-)
The extreme zoom made panning difficult, and I messed up the JAL landing; I did got a good recording of a KLM landing, and combined the stuff in one vid; Have a look at the wheels; only the rear JAL wheel is clean, while in the clip starting at 0:54 all the wheels are . This is a KLM B772 landing gear.
