Has anyone read Kevin Roberts' "Lovemarks"? I'm about half way through it -- love it.
-
yep, I agree

If I had a false eye, it would have popped out when he said this about Al Gore. But you know what? He's got a great point. Perhaps we should invest our time and energy into making change on a micro, sustainable level. And steer away from the doom and gloom!

I think I am living through my 4th 'Depression' - the end fo the world is far from nigh.... remember the dotcom crash? Seems likely only yesterday!

or just a smarter world. I am not a die hard free-marketeer myself... but I do think this is an area where positive focussed business people can make a difference where negative politicians and the doom and gloom crowd achieve not much (as usual).

Being an advertising guru in an industry that likes to accentuate the positive, I think Kevin Roberts is hoping to reassure companies that the end of the 'business world' is not nigh - and that he, in the words of another famous US leader, 'has a dream' that climate change could open up a brave new world for business.

I agree with Kevin Roberts - the green movement always seems to be doom and gloom.
I don't necessarily think Al Gore is all wrong but we need new ideas and possibilities, not limits, if businesses are to be sustainable and have the ablity to grow.

Great video and I completely agree with Kevin Roberts on the issue of sustainability.
Its far better to see a bigger picture and keep a positive outlook on things and try to be one step ahead of things so that there is always more possibilities.
There is a moment in any shoot when you really sit up and pay attention.
What do you all think?
Has Al Gore got it wrong?
